Google Meet Grid View
Adds a toggle to use a grid layout in Google Meets
What is Google Meet Grid View?
'Google Meet Grid View' is a powerful Edge add-on designed to transform your Google Meets experience. With this, you can toggle a grid layout where every participant’s video size is equal. This is especially useful for meetings with no primary speaker or silent work-from-home meetings. There's a variety of options for a tailored experience, including self view, speaker highlighting, and the ability to hide participants without video. Please note, this add-on forcibly loads all participants' videos when grid view is enabled and might affect performance in large meetings. Rest assured, this extension respects privacy and does not track any user data.
This extension adds a button to the top right bar (next to chat & participant list) to enable grid-view in Google Meets. Grid view gives every participant an equal sized video for use in meetings without a primary speaker (such as working from home silent meetings).
This extension forcibly loads every participant's video when grid view is enabled and may cause performance issues in extremely large meetings.
Includes a variety of options to enhance your meeting: include your own video, highlight who is speaking, and hide participants without video!
