What is Open in IE?
"Open in IE" is an Edge add-on that increases browsing convenience by opening links directly in Internet Explorer. If IE is already open, the link will open in a new tab. If not, a new IE window will be launched. Features include: configurable click options, managed storage, and top-level navigation. To use, a minimal native client must be installed.
This extension opens the current tab or links in Microsoft's Internet Explorer browser. Using this extension you can send links to the Internet Explorer without the need to manually copy and paste links.
If an Internet Explorer instance is already opened, then the link is opened in a new browser tab, however, if Internet Explorer is not opened, a new Internet Explorer window is opened.
