It does work for only Amazon... for Flipkart it won't (still loads products on new page) and also for Hoyolab (where the interactive map, daily check in, other tools would still open in new tab) Also I tested this in Microsoft Edge browser with both Webapp and non-webapp

if only it worked all the time i installed it other day it was great now it doesnt work going by the other reviews its got some issues the dev would like donations i would happily do so but if it doesnt work why would anyone want to give money now i gotta look for another fix
