Summary

Help to translate typed text, selected text, the active page.

How to translate text:
1. select required text on any web page and press on extension's button.
2. press on extension's button, enter required text in upper field and press "Translate"

How to translate web page:
1. load required web page, press on extension's button and click on "Translate active page '...'"
2. open preferences (right click on extension's button), choose "Default target language" and "Use Translate Toolbar" => each foreign web page will have hint to translate it.

How to open Translator in separate window:
1. Click on bottom right corner icon;
2. Hold Alt-key and click on bottom right corner icon. This method allow to setup shortcut on Desktop: Menu / More tools / Create shortcut ...

I was looking for an extension which would enable me to QUICKLY open the translation extension by a shortcut, let me enter my string and getting me what i need instantly. It does exactly that. It even translates back the word, giving you potentially better sysnonyms if you were looking for that. Unfortunately, the options dont let you change the size of the window, so one has to manually scroll down to see the other results. This option would make it the perfect writing companion for me.
