Google Meet Attendance
A simple(r) way to record who attended a Google Meet session
What is Google Meet Attendance?
Google Meet Attendance is an Edge add-on that allows teachers to easily record attendance during a Google Meet session. It automatically detects attendees, tracks their arrival time and duration, and generates informative HTML reports. Teachers can save multiple class lists for convenience across devices.
This extension is intended for teachers (like me) who've had to rapidly transition to online classes and need a simple way to take attendance during a Google Meet. As you start your Meet, you can enter a list of expected invitees and the extension will automatically detect who joined the call and how long they stayed.. You can save multiple class lists (which are shared to all of your devices).
The extension records which students attended, when they arrived and how long they stayed with all of the information displayed in a tidy HTML report.
Google Meet Attendance is risky to use as it requires a number of sensitive permissions that can potentially harm your browser and steal your data. Exercise caution when installing this add-on. Review carefully before installing. We recommend that you only install Google Meet Attendance if you trust the publisher.
Google Meet Attendance may not be trust-worthy. Avoid installing if possible unless you really trust this publisher.
