2024-12-02 | Lost | After adopting this as my primary text-to-speech voice reader, I've encountered some issues. When the extension works, it's unparalleled. However, when it malfunctions, the problems are significant. For instance, the article reading feature ceases to function, refusing to read the content. Additionally, the extension sometimes stops working altogether, preventing the opening of the interface to highlight text or failing to read the highlighted text. As a free user who prefers the "David" voice option, I find the extension often switches to a premium voice, prompting an intrusive ad to subscribe or revert to the free voice, which, regrettably, seems to be missing or hidden. Using Edge on Linux exacerbates the issue, as there's no free voice option available, resulting in a relentless stream of ads. Consequently, I've discontinued using this tool as my primary text-to-speech voice reader due to its unreliability for daily use.

2024-10-14 | GyeongGon | Hiquality sound and natural accents of a sentence. It is also good for engineering books. However, I can not recomand this. It is high cost even though I can read without voice. Provider should consider their advertisement for dyslexia. Almost people of dyslexia do not want to read books, and it is natural. If they really want to help for dyslexia people, the provider offers the option reasnable subscribe and expensive perpetual pass. Current price is suitable for perpetual pass, not subsccribe. They don't have to take that route not reasnable like apple."

2024-10-07 | Wilmer | Does not work well with large PDF, have to use the picture function. For a paid service I expect this little kinks to be resolved and taken care of. Thank you.
2024-10-06 | Adam | An amazing addition to MS Edge, when it works. A few times a year I have experienced this app stops working, most often when trying to read posts w/in Reddit. Also, I don't like the large onscreen menu that the app insists that it must be present on the page, or not use any of the apps' browser features. Why, I hate seeing that menu. Let me minimize, or close it when I'm browsing. |
