What is QR Code?

'QR Code' is an Edge add-on that allows users to efficiently generate QR codes from any URL or text, and scan them using context menus, local files or a webcam. All functions execute offline on your browser for privacy assurance. It also offers customization options like adjusting the QR code margin, size, and error correction, with outputs downloadable as png or svg files. This extension supports scanning from an image URL, a local file, or directly with a camera, along with context menu scanning. On macOS or Chrome OS, it also recognizes other barcode types.

When you click the extension icon, it shows you QR code for current page URL. And you can change input and download QR code. There are two buttons at the bottom for custom generating and scanning QR code in a new page.

For generating QR code, you can: • Input any URL or text • Adjust margin • Adjust size • Adjust error correction • Download as png or svg file. • Copy to clipboard.

For scanning QR code, it supports: • Scan an image by it's URL • Select or drag and drop a local image file
