A great, simple extension. Bought a laptop for my elderly father, and he almost immediately started telling me things from the spammy 'news' stories on the Edge front page (some of which were a bit scammy as well). This gives him a pretty picture, the edge logo, and a text box that just redirects to Google as his configured search engine. Perfect.

I like it very much, because I don't like at all Micro$oft default new tab used to track everything the user is doing, so i'm using DuckDuckGo as my default search engine, and I like the feature to launch a search with it in a new tab.
I don't know if it's planned but the background image is not the one showed here, it's the Edge image with the logo floating above water, but that's fine, this image is cool.
It could be nice if an option to place the search bar more at the bottom could be added, and maybe with more rounded corners.
