Well, what is there to say... it simply doesn't work; still, youtube.com is flooded with shorts. Also, there are no instructions to be found, if it is the case you have to change some setting.

I believe YT shorts degrade you mentally or at least hell of annoying content. Helpful for me should be helpful for you. The only thing it does is remove all elements with tag shorts. You simply don't see them.
