This extension does not modify any of the pages that you visit. Its sole purpose is to intercept network requests intended for redirect services. It requests the bare minimum of access to these domains to protect your privacy and have the best performance.
It doesn't seem to intercept google search result URLs, which is why I downloaded this in the first place. Clicking on any google search result still brings up the google URL plus a bunch of parameters before it silently redirects to the actual URL.
See "skip redirect" extension in the Chrome store for a working example. For some reason it doesn't work in Edge despite being allowed to install. Hence why I looked for another redirect remover, and found this extension.
I literally don't care about the other features. I just want to stop google interjecting their crappy redirects in search results.
