2024-12-20 Triff Edit: The BW made an update on Dec 16 to 2024.12.1 and advise me to go to `Settings > Appearance` to restore some of the old behavior. Idk if you can see their response. Any how, I'm increasing the stars to 4, bc finding CC's and other things is harder now than before. I'm glad they fixed that tho. I'm can still call myself a happy premium customer of BW and keep recommending it to friends. First Post: I join myself to the sentiment of many others here. The new UI may look nicer, but changing around and removing some of the buttons results in doing more clicks to access fundamental functions (copy username, password, or OTP).
2024-12-20 Andrew Loved it in the past, but new UI is horrible, and I'm constantly clicking the wrong thing now. Seems slower too.
2024-12-20 Mark I too am having problems with autofill and having to manually copy and paste my userid and password from bitwarden. Also having problems at times with the TOTP securty code being wrong and having to copy it manually.
2024-12-20 Derek I've been a customer of Bitwarden's for years. I've gotten at least a dozen people to start using it, too. But this new UI is so frustrating. None of us dozens of people like it. Constructive feedback: Everything feels blurry and too soft, can you crisp it up? The buttons on the cards are too small, can you make them larger? The mix of soft and hard outlines is harsh when colors are so muted, can you make them consistent? Please bring back auto fill cards on the front page by default -- it was SO useful. I use 5 computers and 3 browsers each -- part of job -- I hate changing prefs on each... so I'm suggesting these things as defaults, not themes or knobs that need tweaked.
2024-12-20 Reilly HBackwards progress. How can you guys have possible made the "fill" button in the extension even smaller to click now. Instead of clicking the entire entry in the list, now you have to look for a small circular button to auto fill. I used to use this product becuase of its elegaqncy. Now when you launch it plagues you with a popup to update exactly halfway through while typing yourt password to log in, interrupting everything. And now this smaller button ****. I am going to switch to vault warden and cancel my payment, Im not paying for a lack of accessibility anymore. I also agree with other users, the new is absolute garbage. They moved things around for no reason. DO NOT CHANGE WHAT PEOPLE LIKE. ITS NOT THAT HARD
2024-12-19 Mark I've used this app for years. Since the beginning. The new design is so monumentally bad it's difficult to put into words. Who was asking for an update like this? They removed features (but reverted some changes in version 2024.12.1 - but hidden away in the settings) and the extension is so SLOW. When I open the extension, I don't need to load the entire vault! I can't help but think this mismanagement could be a deeper reflection of the company itself.
2024-12-19 Austin Bitwarden is a necessary tool for me. I appreciate the look and feel of the new design. 10/10
2024-12-19 David UGH - I love BW and recommend it whenever possible, but the new UI is a huge productivity downgrade. Now you have to click the small "Fill" button instead of the entire record row to perform a fill. Credit Cards are no longer visible on the tab without toggling the "Type" filter, which you then need to toggle back to Login (or de-select which is really just Login fields). Visually it's no cleaner and the usability took a big hit. Still looking for any positive change. Please change the plugin back!
2024-12-19 Ron HORRIBLE new UI ... I've disabled auto-update on Firefox so it'll stay on 2024.11.2, but how can I revert to the same old Edge version?
2024-12-19 Jimmy Good password manager but the new UI design is super unproductive. The old gestures now do different behaviors, so it's very unintuitive for existing users. And the new behaviors aren't what I want to do anyway.
