EviCypher Webmail is an extension that only works with NFC devices that are compatible with Freemindtronic's EviCypher technology.
To use EviCypher Webmail, the user must have :
The Chromium-based browser extension such as Edge.
An NFC device with EviCypher Webmail technology,
The Freemindtronic Android application installed on an NFC-enabled phone,
EviDNS ZeroConf software installed on your computer
After pairing the NFC device to the phone, and then the phone to the web browser extension, an encrypted communication tunnel is then established from end to end between the digital devices of the EviCypher product family. After this final step, everything is automatic.
The EviDNS ZeroConf software is a software developed by Freemindtronic. It allows to quickly find terminals such as NFC phones, connected on the same local network. It collects the IP address and port number of the paired NFC phone to inform the EviCypher Webmail extension.
