h265ify
Enables HEVC support on Edge
What is h265ify?
"h265ify" is an Edge add-on enabling users to leverage built-in support for h265/HEVC on Microsoft Edge. Despite having built-in support, Edge doesn't notify websites of this, preventing HEVC videos from playing. h265ify solves this issue and works with web-based media centers like Plex and Emby, preventing unnecessary transcoding. The add-on also boosts Netflix image quality at lower data rates.

Summary
Is an Microsoft Edge(C) extension which allows users to actually use the already present support for h265/hevc. Microsoft Edge(C) already has built-in support for hevc but doesn't report it to websites which in turn results in hevc videos not being played. Especially with web-based media centers such as plex or emby this will lead to unnecessary transcoding. This will also work for Netflix and give you better image quality at lower data rates.
