User reviews
The Why Salesforce Chrome extension is widely praised for saving time by providing customized shortcut tabs to Salesforce setup pages, enhancing user workflow across multiple orgs. Users appreciate its ease of use and flexibility to create personalized shortcuts. However, recurring issues include the non-functioning Users Tab due to URL errors, absence of import/export capabilities, and lack of sorting features for custom tabs. Some users have experienced breakage after updates, and requests remain for further customization options. Overall, it is a highly beneficial tool with some areas needing improvements.
Pros
- Significantly saves time by providing quick access to frequently used Salesforce setup pages.
- Allows creation and customization of personal shortcut tabs, increasing flexibility and usability.
- Easy to use and intuitive interface favored by users.
- Works across multiple Salesforce orgs, helpful for users managing various clients.
- Well received as a valuable tool that improves navigation and workflow in Salesforce Lightning Experience.
Cons
- Users Tab currently does not work due to incorrect or outdated URL, requiring fixes.
- Lack of import/export feature for saved tabs is a limitation some users desire.
- No option to reorder or sort the custom shortcut tabs, which some find restricting.
- Some report issues with the extension breaking or not working after recent updates.
- Desire for additional UI customization, such as changing the extension's logo or adding colors to tabs.

Love this! 'Users' Tab does not work as-is but manual edit of URL is easy fix - tiny issue to me. Hard-refresh needed for icon to appear with Vivaldi but perfect ever since. Solid 5 for me - Console-like behavior I wish Salesforce had done years ago.

I wish you had import and export feature, but everything else is awesome!
