Theater Mode for YouTube™ ensures that the YouTube video player always opens in the authentic theater mode, providing a full-width viewing experience even for users who are logged out. This Chrome extension works seamlessly without any configurable options, using YouTube's genuine theater mode rather than CSS or JavaScript workarounds.

Users can easily toggle back to the default player view with a button or the "KeyT" keyboard shortcut, but on each visit, theater mode is restored automatically. The extension uses a two-pronged approach: setting the relevant cookie and triggering the theater mode button on player load to ensure consistent operation.
