What is Open local Link?
Open local Link is an innovative Edge add-on that empowers users to smoothly open local files or folders by clicking on their hyperlinks in a Web page. Enhanced to support multi-frame web pages (frameset), it ensures that a local file is opened by the associated application if its extension is xlsx, docx or pdf; otherwise, the item is opened in Windows Explorer. Please note that the usage of this extension requires the installation of a native client application on your local PC.

User reviews
Could be useful for some people, but I need it to open markdown files. Instead, it navigates away from the current page to show them as text in-browser, and simultaneously shows them in explorer, which isn't very useful for me. Only slightly better than nothing, especially considering how much permissions this thing needs.
