User reviews
It still rocks in August 2023! Thanks!
great extension! I Have one suggestion if its anywhere NEAR possible: Automatically temporarily unmute the site if it gets full screened!
Just what I wanted! Adds back a feature that I lost when I switched from Chrome to Edge. Most sites are muted by default (no more loud ads while browsing in bed next to your sleeping partner). Tabs can be unmuted manually (right click on tab) or added to a whitelist. Whitelist is pre-populated with popular video and audio sites like youtube and spotify. Works great with no setup.
EDIT: After many months, I would love to see a few improvements: 1) Add a banner that says "Site Muter is muting this site (icon on tab doesn't always show), 2) Add a button to add current site to whitelist, 3) extension works in incognito mode, but whitelist is ignored - it shouldn't be.
