Well, I have spent hours testing video downloader extensions. Most of which don't work or have problems. Very few will work with EDGE and YouTube. This one does work about 50% off the time. This looks like the only review so far. Not terrible but nice if it worked 100% of the time. There is not a desktop app that i could find for the EDGE browser.
