Take control of the websites you browse every day and eliminate the content you don't want to see! Mutable helps you mute unwanted content across multiple sites at once. Just pick the keywords you want to hide and Mutable will blur, hide, or replace any posts it finds containing those terms!
Features:
- Control what you see (and what you don't) across multiple social media sites at once!
- Create keyword mute lists that work across Twitter/X, Facebook, Mastodon, Reddit, Threads, Bluesky, and more!
- Choose between blurring out posts, blurring with a preview, or hiding them altogether
- You can even replace posts with cute images of kittens, puppies, or hedgehogs for that additional serotonin!
Mutable is still being developed and I would love to hear from you. For questions, comments, or concerns, feel free to reach out!
User reviews
This does exactly what I need it to, and has been such a boon hiding spoilers and leaks better than any built-in muting tool. I love the ability to keep my muted words in one place across multiple sites. The blur with text preview is my favorite (although the hedgehogs are cute) because some things I just want a "heads up" on, and can still click through if I want to. Also love being able to immediately add a new word and on-the-fly banish something from my feeds.
Does block most, but does not filter words when they have apostrophes, like "Peggy's" (without double quotes). Entering "Peggy" does not filter "Peggy's" and entering "Peggy's" in the mutable list does not filter it out.
