The New Window Setup Chrome extension enhances your multi-monitor experience by controlling how new browser windows open. By default, Chrome opens new windows on the same monitor as the last focused window, which can be unpredictable if you use multiple monitors. Additionally, new windows inherit the size of the previously focused window, which may result in inconvenient dimensions if that window was snapped or resized.

This extension allows you to force new Chrome windows to always open on your main monitor and specify their size, ensuring consistent and convenient window placement. It runs without requiring any special permissions, prioritizing your privacy. Developed by experienced extension developer Juraj Mäsiar since 2016, it strives to improve web browsing productivity without compromising security.
