Summary
Capture or record a video of your screen, write text or arrows and share it. The safest extension with NO crazy permissions!

• Quick and clean interface
• Much safer than the rest. NO permissions required! Try installing other screenshot extensions and read their install permissions ...they are crazy! Every other extension has this permission: "Read and change ALL your DATA on the websites you visit." This means it can request or modify data from sites like bank account, Facebook etc.
• Supports "Save to Google Drive"
• Optional right click context menu for quick captures
• Assign shortcut keys

Take a full or partial snapshot of any website or even upload an image into the cloud that you'd like to share or send to someone. You can draw arrows, lines, circles to point out things or even move, erase or delete selections and even annotate the snapshot by placing text right on the image.
Safety
Risk impact

Explain and Send Screenshots requires very minimum permissions and is relatively safe to use.

Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypass your security settings, and access your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Risk likelihood

Explain and Send Screenshots is probably trust-worthy. Prefer other publishers if available. Exercise caution when installing this add-on.

Risk likelihood measures the probability that an Edge add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Edge add-on reputation on Edge Add-on Store, the amount of time the Edge add-on has been around, and other signals about the Edge add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing an Edge add-on, especially ones with higher risk impact and/or higher risk likelihood.
