What is Downloads Overwrite Already Existing Files?
"Downloads Overwrite Already Existing Files" is an Edge add-on designed to enable downloads to overwrite existing files. This assists in eliminating repetitive filenames caused by automatic appending of '(1)', '(2)', etc. added by the system. It aids in maintaining a neat and uncluttered download folder. It should be noted that the add-on does not compare file contents or modification time before overwriting; only filenames.
