Downloads Overwrite Already Existing Files

Downloads Overwrite Already Existing Files

All downloads overwrite existing files instead of adding ' (1)', ' (2)', etc. Includes fix to remember folders.

What is Downloads Overwrite Already Existing Files?
"Downloads Overwrite Already Existing Files" is an Edge add-on designed to enable downloads to overwrite existing files. This assists in eliminating repetitive filenames caused by automatic appending of '(1)', '(2)', etc. added by the system. It aids in maintaining a neat and uncluttered download folder. It should be noted that the add-on does not compare file contents or modification time before overwriting; only filenames.

I am not responsible for lost/overwritten data. This does not compare the contents of files or the file modification time before overwriting, it only compares filenames.

Almost makes MS Edge behave more like "other" browsers

Does exactly as it says. Allows you to overwrite existing files instead of having (1), (2), (3), etc added to the end of the file name.
