Summary

Are you serious about being productive while working from home?

The Productivity Owl has been upgraded to not only help you form better browsing habits, but through task rewards, gamification, and psychological interventions you will be more productive than you thought possible.

Of course work-related websites (and search engine pages) can be given a free pass. On these pages, you will have all the time you need. Just set those websites as "Allowed Websites" in the options. Certain sites such as Facebook and Youtube should be set as "Blocked Websites" in the options. All other websites receive a countdown timer where you must get the information you need before time runs out and the owl closes the page.

The owl is very strict. He will berate and mock you. You'll be forced to complete tasks to earn break time. If you do consistent work, use the timeboxing scheduler for work/vacation, and complete the owl's psychological exercises then you might be able to earn the owl's respect. In version 1.0 no matter what you tried the owl's respect score would not increase. Now it is technically possible to earn the owl's respect - but highly unlikely.

Great extension. Drawback is lack of support. It seems that once schedulle is done, one cant remve or even change it

The owl teaches you to not waste time surfing the web. But the Microsoft Store version is behind the Chrome Store version and I believe the owl disapproves: One star removed.
