Summary
Trace and decode all SAML, WS-Federation and OAuth 2.0 (OIDC) messages
rcFederation tracer

Trace SAML, WS-Federation and OAuth (OIDC) messages. While you browse, the tracer collects all federation messages for you to investigate. The messages are shown in the overview list by occurrence, so you can follow the message flow. Click on the message to view the details in separate windows with syntax highlighting. JWT tokens are automatically decoded. The raw message/token is easily copied to clipboard with a single click.
When messages are signed with an embedded certificate, this will be extracted and can be downloaded from the message.

You can enable/disable the tracer at any time, clear the message list and even remove individual messages from the list.

Export a single message or the whole list to a JSON file.

Using the options, you can change:
- tracing mode (simple/extended)
- number of message to keep in memory
- flag keywords in messages
- type of protocol(s) to trace

Safety
Risk impact

SAML, WS-Federation and OAuth 2.0 tracer requires a number of risky permissions that can potentially harm your browser and steal your data. Exercise caution when installing this add-on. Review carefully before installing. We recommend that you only install SAML, WS-Federation and OAuth 2.0 tracer if you trust the publisher.

Risk impact measures the level of extra permissions an extension has access to. A low risk impact extension cannot do much harms, whereas a high risk impact extension can do a lot of damage like stealing your password, bypass your security settings, and access your personal data. High risk impact extensions are not necessarily malicious. However, if they do turn malicious, they can be very harmful.

Risk likelihood

SAML, WS-Federation and OAuth 2.0 tracer is probably trust-worthy. Prefer other publishers if available. Exercise caution when installing this add-on.

Risk likelihood measures the probability that an Edge add-on may turn malicious. This is determined by the publisher and the Edge add-on reputation on Edge Add-on Store, the amount of time the Edge add-on has been around, and other signals about the Edge add-on. Our algorithms are not perfect, and are subject to change as we discover new ways to detect malicious extensions. We recommend that you always exercise caution when installing an Edge add-on, especially ones with higher risk impact and/or higher risk likelihood.

Fantastic tool, I wish we could set this up to send logs to a central location to troubleshoot user issues and instantly share the logs with support teams.

Works well for SAML tracing, however Dark Mode is near impossible to read...can an option to alter appearance for the extension independently be added?
