Old School GitHub is a Chrome extension that brings back the classic look of GitHub's interface prior to the June 23, 2020 update. It fixes common UI frustrations introduced by the redesign by moving header tabs closer to the main content area, highlighting the selected page more clearly, and restoring the classic button styles with depth and bold fonts.

The extension also improves the file explorer readability by adding row separators and removes unwanted rounded corners and circular user images to maintain square profile photos. It enhances other UI elements such as issue counters, label widths, and README title backgrounds for better usability. While limited to CSS changes due to GitHub's mixed page loading behavior, Old School GitHub effectively retains the familiar GitHub experience on modern browsers.

New GitHub design really is a joke. It looks horrible on my wide screen monitors. Luckily there is this extension to bring back a more functional design, thank you!
