A browser extension for downloading messages from Facebook Messenger.

How to use:

  1. Go to your Facebook messages (facebook.com/messages or messenger.com)

  2. Choose the chat you want to save.

  3. Open the pop-up window of the extension. You will be presented with a note 'Please wait while the extension is loading the data about the chat'. After it has loaded the data the Download button will become active.

  4. Press the Download button and wait while the extension downloads the chat. You will see a progress circle with information about the download.

Had some issues on Chrome, messaged the developer. They got back to me very fast and suggested trying it on Edge. Worked great. Took a couple of tries to find the saved version I liked the best. Thanks!

I have used this for years direct from the developer. I bought it from him. It worked good most of the time. He would fix it when something changed and it continued to work. Today that version would not work. So I paid $5 and bought the license key for this version of it. All it downloads are the pictures. Even after I made sure to check that I wanted it all in the settings. There is no chat messages that get saved, only pictures. I am disappointed.
