Middle mouse or right click option doesn't work. If you go back and click the origin window it closes the spawned tabs randomly. Not enough control.

Worked like a charm. No pop-ups or pop-unders shown either in new windows or tabs. It´s also easy and quick to add a site to the whitelist.
