2024-03-09 Stephen Most of the time it is ok. But sometimes it blocks what I perceive as ok web sites. Most of those are requesting political donations. Especially on my phone.

2021-12-01 Vincent I have had Trend Micro for at least 4 years. It has been the best computer and browser security i have ever used. I agree with Plague (review Sept 7, 2021) that reviews by John and James with their 1 star rating were not valid reviews but only put up by some folks from a competing site that is no competition at all but a scam.
2021-09-07 Plague first of all this is a great security app. second of all i have done intensive researching on the 2 users "John" and "JAMES" and have concluded that most of those rated 1 reviews are from the same address and are linked to a company known as "Synapse X", a company notorious for selling exploitation applications to absolutely anyone for as little as below 5 dollars. These people are evidently fake. 'Trend Micro Security' is not a scam. I have owned it for less than 2 years and it has saved my computer from 5 different adwares, and a trojan virus. You can choose who to believe.. thats your choice. But make the RIGHT choice. 'Trend Micro Security' is the internets guardian angel.
2021-09-03 John Trend Micro did not provide security at all against a banking scam to wire transfer funds out of my checking account. I keep getting pop-ups to add Trend Micro to Microsoft Edge even though it was already installed by Geek Squad. Maybe Geek Squad gets a kickback bonus for pushing Trend Micro over other security programs.
2021-08-25 JAMES I do not think that TREND MICRO SECURITY for MICROSOFT EDGE makes browsing the web safer at all. It's cloud-enabled does not provide security at all against major web threats such as phishing, banking, and technical support scams, as well as identity theft. I is not any good.
2021-07-11 John I have gotten 3 emails to add Trend Micro to Edge this week. I have clicked install each time. In a day or two I'll get another email about the same thing. I'm not sure this program is for MS Edge. It works fine on all the other browsers. No problems except for Edge.
2021-06-01 Andre Just found out that Trend Micro does NOT scan yahoo emails. I had a protection service that did. In fairness it was the Geek Squad rep. who misled me. The Geek squad rep knew that yet steered my to Trend Micro... When my subscription ends I out.
