Simply does not work on my brand-new Windows device. Only changed the background of the document (not the document itself) from dark gray to black. Worthless.

either not working or i misunderstood purpose of this add-on added extension > changed setting to allow access to file URLs > global enabled > reloaded PDF > no work > reopened PDF > no work > redownloaded PDF > no work > checked settings > box still checked > still no work. edit: it works; I had edge flag for dark mode enabled which I guess prevents this extension. rating changed bc it does work but not compatible with edge native dark mode

It DOES work guys. You have to give it access to file URLs in the settings. It works fine. Using it to read local PDFs in dark mode on my machine right now.
